About Deschutes River Whitewater Rafting

  • On a scale from wild to mild, the Deschutes River is a mild river. Great for first-timers and small children.
  • Oregon's most popular river! Class 3 to 3+, June through September.
  • The Deschutes River means "The Rapids" in French. It consists of big class III rapids named "Boxcar", "Oak Springs", "Elevator" and more.
  • This River offers a splashing day in the sun with lots of water fighting. We recommend you be prepared by bringing water guns and buckets.
  • All river trips are economically priced.
  • Day trips include deli style lunch served riverside.
  • The Deschutes is a warm river, so usually wetsuits, booties, etc. aren't even needed. (Always available upon request.)
  • Camping available all along the Deschutes River.
