The Clackamas River is located only ½ hour from the greater Portland area! In addition to being one of the most scenic rivers in all of Oregon, there is no better river for those living in or visiting the Portland area for fun, adventure and convenience.
In the spring (March to May), this Wild and Scenic River is a rockin’, rollin’ class III- IV River, with “the biggest waves in the Cascade Mountain Range” with rapid after classic rapid. When flows are at their highest, Carter Bridge Rapid, Hole-in-the-Wall, Toilet Bowl, Bob’s Hole and other rapids provide an opportunity to get your adrenaline flowing. During the spring we offer full-day trips.
In the summer months (May to August) As flows slow in the summer months, the river becomes an ideal place for river rafters seeking a fun but not aggressive rafting experience. The scenery, solitude, warm mountain air, and energizing rapids combine to create a perfect river adventure for families, mature travelers, and first-timers featuring fun class III rapids, tranquil calm and beautiful forest scenery. We offer both half and full day trips during the summer months.
Perfect for white water rafting March to May for 2013.
The snow pack on Mt Hood is lower than expected so the water levels are too low for optimal fun!
Please consider the White Salmon River or the Deschutes River for your whitewater adventures the summer of 2013.
Thank you from the crew of All Adventures Rafting!
